The York Theatre

The historic York Theatre was designed by noted theatre architect Elmer Behrens and opened on Labor Day, 1924. Acquired by Classic Cinemas in 1982, the theatre has been carefully restored-- faithful to its original Spanish motif. To keep up with changes in the movie industry, the theatre has undergone several expansions bringing the current number of auditoriums to ten.
